Tegan Ison

Speech Pathologist

Tegan is one of our mixed adult and paediatric speech pathologists here at Port Stephens Speech Pathology. She has worked at PSSP as an Allied Health Assistant for over a year and upon graduating with her Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) at the University of Newcastle, she has transitioned into her speech pathologist role. 

 

Tegan grew up in the Port Stephens area and is dedicated to providing a well-needed service to the local community. 

 

Tegan is committed to providing evidence-based, family-centred care to all of her clients by keeping up to date with recent research developments and engaging in regular professional development to build her skills. 

 

Tegan has a particular interest in supporting adults with degenerative conditions and voice concerns. She is also passionate about working alongside families who have children with speech sound and/or expressive language disorders. 

 

Tegan works closely with the local nursing homes in Port Stephens to provide individualised support for residents who are having trouble swallowing their food and/or fluid.
